Alicia Couto is Sustainability Manager, Global Programs at Nscale, where she is developing scalable ESG and environmental-performance programs for their rapidly expanding global AI and digital infrastructure portfolio. Her work connects energy efficiency, renewable electricity, Scope 1–3 emissions, water, waste, circularity, supply-chain performance and environmental compliance with practical delivery.

Drawing on experience spanning sustainability policy development, standards and reporting frameworks, renewable energy, innovation and academia, Alicia brings a systems perspective to the clean-AI transition. She works across engineering, operations, construction and procurement to strengthen responsible sourcing, credible data and lifecycle decision-making—from embodied carbon and equipment reuse to supplier reporting and critical-material considerations. Her focus is enabling resilient, AI-ready infrastructure that delivers measurable environmental value alongside technological growth.
