Neil Bunn

Neil Bunn is a Professional Engineer and the Director of Client Engineering, for Google's Strategic Verticals in Canada. He leads multiple teams of non-billable client facing engineers covering Google's most important focus areas in Canada including Financial & Insurance Services, Telecommunications, Utilities, Media, Retail, top Manufacturing and select hyper-scale emerging technologies clients. He has been with Google for nearly six years focused on building a team of the world's best cloud engineers in the areas of AI, Application Modernization, Networking and Data Architecture. Prior to his time at Google, Neil was the CTO of a boutique cloud, security and infrastructure partner and consultancy with Scalar Decisions (acquired by CDW in 2019) and before that spent nearly a decade with IBM's High Performance Computing and Deep Computing groups where he had the privilege of pushing the boundaries of technology including building several Top 20 Supercomputers focused on cutting edge genomics, climate and AI research.
